The adjective that scares me the most is “narcissistic”. If, god forbid, this guy is elected again, that means the rich, white, straight men who do the best job of sucking up will get to decide how this country will be run. Which means policies that will suck up all the benefits for them and inflict harm on everyone who is not a rich, white, straight man. The orange guy has no interest in governing; he only wants the spotlight and bribes.

I still have my Opus and Bill stuffed animals from somewhere back in the 90’s. I just wish I had paid for the optional submachine gun. :)

Yes, @Orbilius, please do explain how. I’ll get the popcorn. This should be entertaining.

Oliphant had already won a Pulitzer for his work, as well as many other awards, at the time Breathed received his in 1987. So envy might not have been his motivation. I wonder if he was equally upset when Garry Trudeau received a Pulitzer for Doonesbury in the previous decade.

Notably, the two holier-than-thou women in the didn’t category. And is that a pope at the end of the line?

Mine has the red bow tie and was also made in Korea. Sits on the shelf next to the bright orange Bill.

I wonder how many of the actual people in those countries support “communism” vs. the Communist Party that is in charge of their lives. When I was in Cuba a few years ago, many of the people I encountered seemed to be running very capitalistic-like businesses while trying to avoid the government as much as possible.
