   I’m from England, and I don’t understand most of these political comments. But I can tell you that all over the world, folks respect and admire your President and appreciate him all the more because of his illiterate, warmongering predecessor. Please appreciate him more! Please!! I’m sorry he’s not white or charismatic but he is intelligent, articulate (if you listen) and has done more for your wonderful country than you seem prepared to acknowledge. Vote for reason, not just gut feel!

   American humor doesn’t always travel well to us in Europe but Doonesbury is a sparkling exception and this particular storyline never fails to hit the spot. Whatever halls of fame Gary T isn’t in yet, add him immediately.. some of you might not understand why, but he is a GREAT ambassador for the US.
