This cartoonist has a way of making up his own news. It seems that he dreams up some situation that makes Obama look bad, then tries to somehow attach it to real-world events. If you’re not an Obama-hater you have to study his cartoons awhile just to figure out what he’s trying to say.
That whole 2nd Amendment argument is a red herring. A smokescreen. It’s a fiction the gun lovers like to tell because it makes them appear rational and high-minded. The one and only reason people defend guns is this: Fear. That’s right, fear. Fear of their fellow human beings. Doesn’t speak too highly of their motivations, does it?
