   I so want to see Hubbs and Ellie get back together, but realistically I don’t see how it can happen. BeaR. is going to have to get very creative.

   See, if he came back, tail between his legs in failure, what’s going to change? If Ellie takes him back, she’s still going to treat him the way she did before.

   If he comes back, a triumphant pro-star, still, what’s going to change? If Ellie takes him back, she’s not only going to treat him the same way, she’s going to spend more of his money.

   Then what happens if she doesn’t take him back?

   No matter what, methinks BeaR. is going to be keeping us on the edge of our seats for a while!

   I’m thinking that’s a bullion coin. He didn’t call it a “$10 Gold Eagle”, he called it a “Half-Ounce Gold Eagle”.

   A $10 Gold Eagle is a coin, used in circulation as money. It’s not pure gold because pure gold can not withstand wear and tear of use.

   A Half-Ounce Gold Eagle is 1/2 Troy Ounces of 0.999 gold fashioned to look like a coin. It may have a “dollar amount” stamped on it, but it is never circulated.

   As of today, 10/5/2020, the spot price of gold is about $1700. A half-ounce gold eagle would have about a $850 “melt value”, meaning, what it’s worth melted down. Add collectors value — you’re talking $900 on up depending on year, quality, etc.

   But to tell you the honest truth, I wouldn’t even give the kid the foil-wrapped rock. I might part with a “gold” chocolate coin …

    Actually, go to Amazon, search for “cap gun”. They still make them! A decent variety of them, too.
