   Toni will know TJ made them because Brad tried to cook for her and failed. BUT he also cared enough to ask TJ for help so she had something special. If Brad remembers to tell it that way rather than take credit. “Toni, I love you so much, I had the greatest chef we know make this”…it really is that simple. Toni know he’s not a cook or should by now.

   so you would steal the comfort from a terminally ill patient counting their life in days just to be “right”…great human being you are there. Here, I’ll leave it at the universe is too complicated to be accidental and I’ve seen too many miracles to deny a stranger power at play. I know what I call Him, but if you have another name I’m not here to argue with you. Though you shouldn’t need to question why, I have an aggressive 10cm tumor in my head that’s defying classification aside from it’s malignant and puts a dice roll on my daily activities.

   depending on the group/shelter, the fosters get input on where the pets go…some even do “home visits” and require the prospective adopter come to a neutral place (Ours has a deal with PetSmart to use one of their playrooms if it’s not occupied) and see how they interact before they adopt. So it’s not as blind a choice as it used to be. Some of our adopters still talk to my mom and send photos of how the dogs are doing by choice.

    I’m really hoping for a trope subversion at this point and the two of them just snuggling during the obvious power-outage and talking through their day so the other empathizes.
