It works the other way as well, How did she know they weren’t undercover police officers. Not that there would be undercover cops in a known criminal hangout.
Hmm… Since they seem to still have some cartoon powers, that might solve some propulsion problems. Now for getting fresh water. Any ideas? Maybe lasso a cloud and wring the water out of it?
OK gang, help me move this out onto the beach and open up the hide-a-bed and arrange the cushions before that lifeboat I kicked off the falling ocean liner lands here. With luck it will land safely on the couch and we can then use it to cross this vast ocean to someplace safe. I just hope some food falls nearby soon. Anyone see a falling grocery store?
Well, since cartoon physics are working… Here hold this flashlight I just pulled out of my pants. Now let me get my shadow… Ah there it is. Shadow grab the edges of that hole in the ceiling. OK. Wow this feels weird. Now drag the hole down and onto that wall. Holy Jehoshaphat, IT WORKED!
I mentioned your request to her. She is the only one who knows what they should look like and has access to the original art. If something is so obvious that it makes her cringe, she will post it on FB on whatever site she is currently a member on. I don’t think she will go back and re-post the images that she did on the old Dick Tracy site onto the new one, nor will she do every Sunday, but you can expect her to continue posting Sundays that she deems totally F’d up by Go Comics. And any assistance we can get to get GoComics to quit doing whatever it is they are doing that messes up the image is appreciated.
Gweedo, if you highlight boboscars link, all three lines, and copy it, then open a web browser tab and paste into the address bar at the very top, it should work. It did for me.
If it helps at all, the bookplate shown is NOT a copy and paste reproduction. Shelley looked at examples of bookplates and made up her own design that is hand drawn. This bookplate is a Shelley Pleger original art piece. I myself have bookplates for my books that are Boris Vallejo images, as well as a large block stamp of a dragon breathing fire. I also have an embosser with “From the library of Terry Pleger” and a unicorn on it. Every book I ever lent out I embossed. There is never any doubt it is mine.
Goodness, gracious, great ball of glowy whiteness! Is it the Good Witch of the North?
