Too bad ……. it comes down to a CHOICE, you either can use the pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern, and get the inside flesh all black and useless, or make pies ….. but NOT both !! Good thing there are plenty of pumpkins, and they’re CHEAP !!
WAIT a minute !! You make pumpkin pie from the FLESH, or outsides, NOT from the inside guts and seeds !! Typical guys writing this !! I used to think pie was made from the outsides, too !!
