This comment is not related to this particular strip but to sports in general. Many of the NFL and NBA “stars” are street thugs looking to get millions for their “talent”. The will do whatever they have to in order to get into the game. What would be interesting is to see what would have happened if they held the draft and the teams did not select anyone, and just relied on the pool of players they already have. Let the “talented” kids set around for a couple of years, to mature, and see what sort of trouble they get into before taking them into the system. And as beginners, they should be paid the minimum, until they can prove their worth.
