I’m in the UK so my favourite is Cadbury mini eggs (although the Daim bar eggs they’ve started making for the last few years might be stealing that spot). As for my leas favourite, I’d say hot cross buns are the only thing I can think of that get eaten at Easter that I don’t like, even if they’re not exactly candy.
Sometimes we can’t understand what it is about a particular phrase/suggestion/action that others might find offensive, but I don’t think it’s fair to just dismiss someone’s feelings as them being ‘sensitive snowflakes’ because you weren’t INTENDING to upset them. If someone says ‘you shouldn’t do X’ about something I’m doing, I take it as a signal that I should consider apologizing to them and also keep it in mind in the future, either by changing my behavior in general (if it’s something multiple people/ a whole group say they have an issue with) or trying to remember that that person has a particular issue with it.
