   Actually, it beards are references the Star Trek episode “Mirror, Mirror” where Kirk, McCoy, Scotty & Uhura went to an alternate reality. In that reality, the counterpart to Spock wore a goatee.

   Legenedary actor Danny Kaye was a polymath. He reportedly read medical journals for fun and could discuss advanced surgical procedures with experienced physicians. A skilled chef, Kaye learning Chinese cooking so well, he opened a “restaurant” at his home and make authentic dishes for family and friends. And he was supposedly so skilled at golf, he could have gone pro if he wanted to.
