The Soggy Bottom Boys were in the movie ‘Oh brother, where art thou’. Love the reference to a great movie!

For middle aged women, it’s peri/menopause. It might be a serious illness, but it comes to all of us.

I’m a SC/GA GC and floor vents are still common.

Never have been open, still not open on Sunday.

For us, it was the gap between school pickups. I had 20 minutes, not enough to do anything else, so I’d get in line early and read or other short ‘to do’s. Then there’s the ‘practice at 330’ when school gets out at 310, and you have to get out quickly to get there.

I don’t miss any of that, but I do miss little ones!

I think it means that he’s um, affectionate and energetic. No way that’s not a compliment- but in a G rated way for Ruthie.

I love putting decorations up late Nov to end of Epiphany but then I want to deep clean and put it all away. The tree is last and comes down first, but I’m married to a fireman.

Farmers here in the same country grow them and replant. They recycle the mulch and the entire tree is returned to the earth. Fake comes across the ocean with chemicals, lots of energy to get here. .

Real are not fire hazards if they are kept in water and use less heat in the house – and not put up for 4 months. Fake can also be a hazard as they’re covered with chemicals and know to reduce air quality inside the home, as well as both collect dust, but only one brings it back next year.

There are two sides to every coin, pick your tree and enjoy it. I hope something wonderful appears underneath for you!

Pulling out a BB gun and aiming it will be enough to move amateurs along. When the teenage boy around the corner used his new toy to look in my daughter’s window, and watch her sitting on our covered porch, well, I sent his electronic eye a warning.

And then I called his mom. Way better than a firearm.

Our Pyrenees/Lab puppy is 14 months old and 130 pounds. At 10 weeks he was 20 pounds, but his feet were HUGE!
