If Delta ever comes back, hopefully she will not be the judgmental do-gooder we last saw her as. Remember that in her last appearance, she told Luann that it was better that she didn’t vote because “only serious, mature citizens should vote.”
If Delta had been depicted with more humility, that conversation might have gone differently.
Delta: “It’s too bad you didn’t vote, Luann, but we all make mistakes.”
Luann: “What do you mean?”
Delta: “Rock the Vote asked me to call all my friends and remind them to vote … and I didn’t get around to making my calls until after the election.”
If Luann thinks that Ann might be honest, perhaps she ought to imagine how Ann would market this same garment at her next lingerie party if she were honest.
Ann: “This item is so exclusive that almost the only people who have them are celebrities and royalty.”Customer: “Really, only celebrities and royalty?”Ann: “No, I said ‘almost.’ Just celebrities, royalty, and three students at colleges in the San Diego area.”
The songs in “The Greatest Showman” were written by two of the same songwriters as the songs in “La La Land,” Justin Paul and Benj Pasek, so that would explain some of the similarity.
Since Frank’s envelope is labeled “Dad” and Toni doesn’t call him “Dad,” please feel free to switch the names around in my example so that Brad or Luann buys Frank’s gift. You get the idea.
They could set it up so that each person gets a gift for one other person. So, for example, Nancy buys a gift for Toni, Toni for Frank, Frank for Brad, Brad for Luann, and Luann for Nancy. In this system, the person that you buy a gift for doesn’t buy a gift for you.
See “For Better or For Worse,” March 13, 2008, where Anthony proposed to Elizabeth. Even a significant number of readers who supported the idea of Anthony marrying Liz found the proposal to be lacking in romance.
It’s not like an ethnic stereotype. At many (not all) firehouses, all the firefighters have to participate in cooking for their co-workers (typically in a rotating schedule). Thus, they often have to develop at least some cooking skills because it’s necessary for work.
Actually, saying that Brad and Toni have “shared” 14.9 days in the bathroom makes it sound like they have been in the bathroom together for an average of an hour each day. No matter what you attribute that time to, it sounds like a higher amount of time than I would expect.
