   Amherst College (Darby’s alma mater) and Williams are big rivals and bet their jerseys on the outcome of the game each season. As an (ex) Amherst rugger, I can tell you that I ended up with a big pile of (slightly used) Williams jerseys by the end of my four years. Guess the trend was the same in Darby’s time.
