Do the Brachs candy stations still exist? As a kid I used to hit it when my mom was shopping and hiding the evidence until we got back in the car. Nothing better than a butterscotch or a dark caramel.
Shannon’s mother abandoned her. Toni is the only mother figure in her life. While I get Jonah takes advantage of the free daycare, he’s doing right by leaving his daughter with people he knows and trust. He knows she’s in good hands which can be hard to find among family members. But Toni and Jonah need to set a stipend for her care and for collateral damage.
One morning when I as about six, I walked into the kitchen and saw my dad drinking his coffee. I asked him what it tasted like and he offered me a sip. I was hooked! Never questioned about how young I was and it was a nice bonding experience between the two of us. He wasn’t a night time coffee drinker and neither am I. We lived 3 hours from our grandmother and my dad, along with the other sons-in-law worshipped the ground she walked on. It was never an issue to go visit or bring her for a week’s visit.

I always regretted not naming my now late dog Kirby. I would just point to a dropped piece of food and he was on it. Next dog is definitely getting that name.
When I was a kid, my collie had carpeting in his dog house. It was given to us, made by a craftsman for his dog and very large. But is was wood and cold so we went and got some discards from a carpet store. He used it quite a bit. He had inside privileges but he liked the cold.
