   I’m not even 40 yet and I still carry and write cheques. I also prefer cheques as payment for my business. It’s a safe and reliable form of exchanging funds and it’s a shame that so many people have forgotten that.

   Let’s all just be grateful every time we’re able to have another “today”. My mom died when she was 45, and I wish like everything that she’d had many more birthdays. When I turn 45 in just shy of a decade, I’ll be much more appreciative of my life than Elly is if I’m still here.

   I think the best thing to do here would be for them both to go up to the teacher’s desk, and either ask to see her privately outside in the hall, or very quietly admit to her what the note is, what they’ve done, and ask her to please not read it out loud in class (as some teachers are wont to do as punishment). Then, if the girls were sincere and polite, the teacher also might be willing to ask Anthony to stay for a moment after class, and simply explain to him that the note was given to him by mistake, and then rip it up. And then Candace and Dawn immediately come clean to Liz.

   I’m a little afraid to see what is actually going to happen, and the mess everyone may find themselves in.

    We are absolutely capable of understanding it, that’s why the Lord gave us the Bible in the first place. As well as giving us the ability to reason and use logic. Anyone who asks for understanding with a sincere heart, the Lord will reveal Himself to them.

    If Jesus is a man, even in part, then He’s something created by God. And if Jesus is just a part of the Creation rather than the Creator, then our religion is worthless, because a God who would send someone else to do His own “dirty work” is not a God worthy of servitude. The whole point of Jesus is that it was God Himself, sacrificing His own Form for us all.

    When it says He was “fully man”, it means His bodily form was fully “mortal”. It doesn’t mean He was a created human being. Remember, God took off His immortality to die on the cross.

    And faith is not just a blind belief in something we can’t see — faith is an action, the action of putting into practice what we believe, James 2:14-26.
