   We did that at our mines house, with our new pups.1 dog door from mud room to garage & 1 from garage to back yard. Since we got the pups 9 months apart, the 1st was able to help teach the 2nd how the system works.No door or glass scratching involved. Though the back glass door does get wet smooches on it from our Wirehaired Pointing Griffons Beards.

   Start sorting now into piles/boxes of:- keep & move- sell or donate- donate – put by side – ‘free’- garbage – throw out Then in 1 month re-evaluate the ‘keep & move’ into smaller amount.That 2 months will go by faster than you realize.

    My husband made a spreadsheet of what we wanted, what was an absolute no, etc. We checked out various neighborhoods few years before we planned on buying & moving. We ended up buying in a small town we had originally said absolutely not and got the perfect house for us – no stairs & one of the biggest backyards on the street. After we moved, we had our realtor hire someone to do a ‘move out clean’ and it sold 3 days on the market.
