Learned to read with my brothers' comic books. Often got chased out of the house by my mom on pretty summer days, but I showed her.... I took my comic books to read outside, usually in a tree somewhere. Today, I have a subscription to a real, 7-days-a-week, locally owned newspaper and the comics page is the first thing I read every morning.

Hey, you asked for my suggestion and I gave it. Besides, how do we know you aren’t already making comments under other names? You seem to have a lot of time on your hands.

You do realize this is a comic and that character “acts” the ways she does for comic effect.

Wow! That’s a strong and odd take on the subject. A mother trying to cook healthy food for her family is the opposite of a narcissist. She’s someone who cares about others.

I’ll take a guest artist or new artist as long as it rids the comic world of the horrors that are the current Shannon.

Ah the 2004 presidential election. I remember those days – when, even if you didn’t like the other party’s pick, they did at least all act like grownups and took the job seriously.

I thought the annual shoe throwing was a spectator sport. Not so much fun to do it quietly at night alone.

You are probably correct. Only answer is to stop commenting in any way. That certainly will make many people happy.

Yes, it does! They are kind of scrawny, but there are plenty of them.
