   When I first was married I would go to bed and be stuck in the foot with a pin needle. This event would happen every two or three weeks. I asked my wife how the needles got into bed as I am domesticated but do not sew. She said she didn’t know. Well, one day I go into the bedroom after helping her strip the sheets for new ones and she is sitting on my side of the bed with a pile of pin needles strewn close at hand on the sheet pinning up an article of clothing. I asked her to do her work on her side of the bed from now on. After she was stuck once she stopped doing her sewing in bed altogether.

   I agree. College graduates leave school with crushing debt and perhaps no marketable tools. Being able to work with your hands and imagination is in high demand because few can do it. What happened to shop in high schools? Is it still taught?

    My wife would ask me to do something for her and would come back later and say, “why didn’t you do it this way”? I got so tired of it I just told her to do it herself and then she would be happy. Well, she did it herself and was happy. She is better with power tools than I am. If someone gifts me a tool, I just give it to her. Wouldn’t trade her for anything!! At least until she finishes our home addition.
