Well, I can make your wish come true ;) Just go to July 22nd 1980 in the calendar at the top of this page, and you can read the arc in its entirety. Enjoy!
My favourite story arc with Marcie is the one where she and Schroeder take the plane to music camp. It was so refreshing not to have Peppermint Patty there, and Marcie’s interactions with Schroeder were fantastic – it proved that Marcie didn’t need to have Patty always around, and that she could be the protagonist of her own story arcs.
This is why I wish that Marcie’s role in Peanuts had been expanded. She should have been more than just Peppermint Patty’s satellite, who never appears without her. For what it’s worth, I consider Marcie to be Schulz’s best character.
Only four-year olds need to be “reassured” that a comic strip will end “happily” – and perhaps not even them. You’re not reassuring anyone: you’re deliberately being spiteful and annoying, because everyone (not just Rand al’ Thor) keeps asking you, time and again, NOT to spoil the comic for new readers, and yet you persist in doing it anyway. Can’t you understand that NO-ONE appreciates your spoilers?
You’re very welcome! :)
