Dear Prof’s Hubbie, you took my comment entirely wrong. Ripley’s has always encouraged readers to submit their amazing facts to us…it started with Robert Ripley himself. When you think about it, Ripley’s was one of the first “interactive” cartoon features. All I was doing was extending the invitation to you…to have some fun. Not to “pass the buck” as you said. I am indeed sorry that you took the remark negatively as it was not the intention.

Thank you so much! I would love to hear from you. It is indeed much more difficult to come up with fresh material in this day and age of the information super byway and why the reader’s submissions are so important. You may see and hear of something locally that has not made it into the mainstream news. Let us know about it and we’ll give you a byline in the feature. You’ll be the envy of all your friends and relatives! lol Thanks again for being so kind!

Thank you, Nighthawks! Jack Davis has always been one of my idols. I did a trading card set in homage to his “Funny Monsters” style Topps set and it was titled “You Slay Me!”
