Shouldn’t Honey Bunny be making deliveries right about now? My nephews are expecting a special shipment of chocolate to arrive on Sunday.

@NightGaunt49, I know you are still sad that the good Saddam Hussein was unjustly driven out of power despite having received 100% of the vote in February 2003. At least we are keeping the reformer Bashir Assad in power in Syria.

What this strip points out is that Obama opened himself up to political criticism when he attempted to use the Bergdahl swap for political gain. Appearing on the Rose Garden with the family in a publicized speech was clearly an attempt to distract from the VA scandal. It backfired once that right wing bastion CNN decided to interview some of Bergdahl’s fellow soldiers.

The teacher’s union chief is a caricature of Karen Lewis, who is the union representative in Chicago, who has had run-ins with that tea party wingnut Rahm Emanuel who had the outrageous right-wing idea that Chicago teachers shouldn’t have the shortest working day in the country. Madness.

The White House announces disappointing signups for February and the Democrats lose a very winnable special election where they actually outspent the GOP by nearly $900,000 and ran a popular well-known candidate against a Christine O’Donnell-type Republican nominee.
Nixon was basically a Progressive with an® after his name. He was center-left to be sure.
