My husband’s checkbook was a mess; when we married, I took over the finances in a joint account, later started paying online when that became a “thing.” In the 33 years we were married (he died in 2015), he never paid another bill. He was free to cash checks or withdraw from ATMS, but he didn’t like that, either, so I usually withdrew from the ATM for both of us and split the cash. If we ate out, I paid with a credit card (he never had a credit card of his own and rarely used the joint one).
She wants him to say it with emojis!
