I remember an Encyclopedia Brown story involving a sword that was supposedly presented to “Stonewall” Jackson by some of his men, with the inscription “for standing like a stone wall at the first battle of Bull Run”. He proved it fake for two reasons; first, that they wouldn’t have known there would be a second battle in the same place, and secondly, that the Confederate army referred to it as the battle of Manassas, not Bull Run.
I’ve seen the knight’s move described both ways, depending on the rule book. It ends up the same either way, and since you jump over any other pieces in the way it makes no difference.
I remember being told 15% if the service was decent, or at least $1 per person. I don’t get how as the base price for the meal has gone up, the expected percentage also has, so you’re getting hit with double inflation.
Believing in a “young” Earth and believing in a flat Earth are not the same thing. I believe the former, not the latter.
