   I remember being told 15% if the service was decent, or at least $1 per person. I don’t get how as the base price for the meal has gone up, the expected percentage also has, so you’re getting hit with double inflation.

   My dad used to work for a farmer who also had a construction business. Occasionally, when the farm work was slow, he was asked to help out on the construction crew, and he spent one day as a flagman. He said that was the hardest do-nothing job he’d ever had.
