   I have a 1992 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. I also have its factory service manual from GM. The manual is about as useless as an udder on a bull. When I had to program a new remote, the module wasn’t even on the same side of the car as where the manual said it would be!

   That is a real book. I Googled “1964 Chevrolet assembly manual.” The artwork is dead-on, except that the black triangle on the cover is actually red.

   Yet another GOP president who bombed innocent countries. Dubya did it a quarter century later when he went after Afghanistan and Iraq for an incident that was caused primarily by Saudis! Oh, but the Saudi royal family (as well as the bin Laden family) were friends with Dubya.

   We have had Mars technology for decades. However, tight-fisted politicians (mostly elephants) put the kibosh on it after the Apollo program, which was also cut short. There were supposed to be Apollo 18 and 19 missions.

   They had the sprinkler system turned off as well! I read elsewhere that they suspect that an electric transformer was the cause. Thar would have been my father’s responsibility to maintain it!

   Ironic, as a major suburban Philadelphia aerospace fastener manufacturer burnt down yesterday, losing 500 jobs. My late father was a 25+ year employee of Standard Pressed Steel (known today as SPS Technologies). He was the chief electrician before his 1985 death.
