To be fair, if they had only tried to wrench the ball out of his glove, probably not a big deal. One fan grabbed his glove and wouldn’t let go. The other fan grabbed his other arm to prevent him from defending himself. That was actual assault and could have seriously injured Betts – shoulder, hands, elbows, etc. I despise the Dodgers almost as much as the Yankees, but you don’t get to lay your hands on a player and those two should be vilified, not celebrated.
