   Given that free samples usually have an attendant standing there. Even if they aren’t comfortable stopping some troublemaker, I doubt they’d leave that contaminated food out for others to take.

   Are you kidding? You have to simmer soup for hours to do it properly. That’s how the flavors blend. It’s much better than that canned stuff, but you can’t rush the process.

   It’s not so much about hygiene as savings. If you wear clothing more than once before washing, you save on water/soap/electricity/wear and tear on the machines. This is both good for the environment and the pocketbook.
