You’re implying (hoping?) that children asking about their gender bits are subtly inquiring as to how they function in various sexual encounters, which I highly doubt is the case. Being born with a sex (biological designation of male or female) is not the same as being born with sexuality (which is realized and developed later…if it happens sooner, it’s likely because they’ve already been preyed upon, and subsequently traumatized). These are not interchangeable terms. That you allegedly knew the basics at age 4 (if we are to actually believe this) is anecdotal evidence at best, which is hardly a substantial argument, and certainly no excuse to assume that scenario exists for every child, or even most.
Even if a young child somehow grasps the rudimentary elements of sex, they are not yet equipped to fully understand the implications of this type of intimacy, which extend far beyond the physical act. This isn’t “denigration”, it’s simply a developmental reality. Puberty doesn’t necessarily have an arbitrary age either…but that’s when these types of conversations should start…not when they’re in kindergarten!
It sounds like you want parents left completely out of the equation, like most educators are pushing for. If the motivations behind this are so noble, why the desire to keep parents in the dark? You complain that I’m somehow denigrating children, while simultaneously doing the same to parents (any proof of your on-the-fly “less than half” statistic?) for resisting attempts by local school boards to own/control their kids. Everything you’re saying sounds exactly like minor-attracted groomer “logic”.
I’m good with that…sexuality and gender identity of all forms are adult issues. The minds of children that young aren’t yet sufficiently developed to handle or process such ideas. Let kids be kids; they can learn about these things at a more appropriate age, ideally from their parents.
The reason people wear a cross isn’t because they love torture; it’s in honor of the Savior who overcame it in dying for the sins of the world. If you don’t believe in that, that’s fine…just don’t misrepresent the affections of those who do. As for the flag, the “wing” you are referring to didn’t decide it was only for them. It’s the other side (aka the actual extremists) who categorically rejects it, saying things like America sucks and was never great, and shuns any notion of patriotism.
It’s more his cabinet and Obumma behind the scenes that are doing the actual damage, rather than the commander-in-thief himself. Poor guy doesn’t even know what planet he’s on most of the time…
We’d prefer you throw yourself on the rotisserie…
