The idea of pulling your sleeves down to keep your hands warm is centuries old. The big cuffs on military greatcoats were there for that very reason. It is way beyond difficult to fire a musket with gloves on your hands and by the time you get your gloves off, you might be shot dead already.

What a selective grenade. Gary’s head is gone, but the rest of his body is remarkably intact. Neither the table or the adjacent wall show any damage.

House keys on the left, car key on the right. Usually, I am able to get push the last car door closed with my hip and hit the lock button on the car key fob with one free finger. Then the bags set on the front stoop while I fumble for the house key and unlock the door.

Back many years ago, my dentist then recommended letting nature take its course with wisdom teeth. An army dentist wanted to take them out but I declined since the wisdom teeth were not causing any problems. My new dentist also let them come in or not. One needed a filling that my current dentist drilled out and replaced with a new, mercury free, one. Three of the four erupted with only minor problems, one is on a slant. Number four is still hidden and may never erupt.

Most drugstores have them along with the assortment of canes. Mine is handy for picking up things in the back of hard to reach places.

Ben Franklin said the same thing but with three people, two being dead.

How about the snap, crackle and pop of static electricity doing that on a dry day?
