   In the early days of marriage, I played Monopoly with my wife. She didn’t take it well (I guess that I can be a bit competitive). Our 29th wedding anniversary is coming up and I still can’t use the “M” word without her getting mad.

   Reading Melville Is like hacking your way through a thick jungle of tangled vines opening into small meadow. You wonder, “I did all this work for this?” Moby Dick had some thick vines, but nothing like the book, “Hawaii”

   I can’t really get over the air. I live in an apartment and all my windows face north while all the TV stations are south. However, internet is included with my HOA fees. I use Roku and streaming services. Works well for us.

   My mom passed at 68 (born in 1929); I’m 72 now. She was talking to my little brother and just keeled over in a middle of a sentence.

   I got married a month before my 44th birthday (never married before that); I’m 72 (close to 73) and she’s still putting up with me so I must be doing something right.

   I’m ten years older than my wife; chances are I’ll go first even though I have six doctors working on keeping me around. There are no guarantees, however. Take life has it comes and cherish each other.

   Well, nursing has several levels to it. You start at a basic level and you can get training and classes to advance levels while on the job. It all depends on your ambition. You can stop when you are where you want to be or keep advancing. I have a cousin who’s advanced through several levels. Last time I was in the hospital for a heart procedure, she stopped by to say “hi”. There are many different facets to Nursing.

   Idea for other schools; They tried that at the University of Utah. Turns out that one of the campus rules is you cannot camp on the grounds without written permission. They waited until midnight then trespassed them. Police charged them with that and kicked them off campus. Classes and exams went without incident the next morning. Seems like a good idea.

   Doesn’t have to be a school; my mom lived in a very small town in Idaho but was within driving distance from Sun Valley back when a lot of stars went there. She had an autograph book filled with lots of names (including Clark Gable). She was devasted when the book was lost in a house fire. They had to basically rebuild the house. At least no one was hurt.
