It was still there on mine with today’s comic

    They seem to change regularly.

He had actually asked her to find them and keep them. He was a unique individual as well.

My niece’s mother-in-law spread out newspaper on her kitchen table and sifted her husband’s ashes to find the artificial valves that they’d installed in his heart. She was a unique individual.

But that one province is over a third of the size of Britain….and its the second smallest of those 10 provinces and 3 territories…

Nova Scotia – no more than 50km from the coast

My grandmother’s favourite saying here – Too little to save, too much to dump, makes the housewife slightly plump!

They’ve banned single use plastic bags here in Nova Scotia. The province of PEI has as well. Plastic cutlery and straws are on their way out later this year.

In Canada the 2 weeks is just for complete isolation if you have had possible contact or may be showing symptoms – no leaving your home, no contact with other people, etc. If not in self-isolation, we are to be at home as much as possible, only going out if absolutely necessary, 6’ social distancing, no groups of people greater than 5 and only when necessary, etc. We are looking at possibly another 3 months of that with current projections. The quarantine act has been invoked. Our shutdown happened quickly and has made a difference as our rate of transmission has been lower than the US and many other countries. It’s not perfect but it’s helping.
