   I knew better than to serve that meal to my boys. And now my grandkids have learned to request just buttered noodles. I’m fairly sure that Farfalla noodles would not be acceptable.

   I miss having a cat on top of the TV; it was like 2 shows at once since I could watch the cat and the TV. I do not miss the tail going tick tock in front of the screen.

   I changed my screen print to 170% instead of 100% and could read it without it scrolling off the screen. That’s faster than going to the original publication.

   No one else seems to have noticed that it looks just like a camp site at the front machine.

   Same with me in the early 70’s. We’d planned to stay a few days but didn’t find it a friendly place at all for German or English speaking people. We caught a train that evening. It’s the only place we went that treated us that way. Hope things have changed.

    Our boys got silver dollars. If they chose to do so, they could sell them to us for a paper dollar or its equivalent. I think the idea was to give them back to them later but I’m pretty sure we started recycling, even offering to fund a grandson’s tooth event.
