Careful of assumptions. All my baby teeth were eventually extracted because the permanent teeth kept missing the roots and the roots didn’t get pushed. Several of my sons’ teeth also had to be extracted when the baby tooth and permanent tooth were trying to share space. No rotten teeth involved at all but they were removed as needed, not all at once. It seems to be a trait passed down.

There are never any stupid expressions on a beloved dog’s face!

I would have slammed the door open, seen my boys sitting there just reading and found it difficult to stay angry. No arguing and just enjoying books for pleasure? It makes up for a lot.

Northern Michigan’s been in school for less than one week since they start after Labor Day. So, maybe after 5 days of school, the kids have checked out what everyone else is wearing and they’re ready to shop.

A driveway should be a nice, safe place to drive a Cozy Coupe. All obstacles need to find other parking. At least, that’s my rule.

I’m always flattered when they ask if I brought my cookies for them when we visit the grandchildren. Then come the questions: Did you bring any M&M cookies? Any truck sugar cookies? Buckeyes?

I’m not sure the catnip is needed in the bubble solution.

I never understand how a grown man expects his lunch to be made for him every day. It’s nice if his spouse has the time and wants to send him off with one or even makes part of his breakfast but he should have some idea of how to put the bread around a piece of lunch meat and cheese. The woman being the only one who cooks is definitely an idea better lost in the last few decades. And visa versa but I don’t have female friends that can’t figure it out either.

That’s a huge loss, not of inventory but of a fun craft that must have brought you joy. I broke my hand 3 years ago and just as I could use it more easily, it broke again during physical surgery. After another surgery and 6 months on a machine, I’m fortunate enough to have the use of my hand again. A lot of my cards make use of print and cut now.

I’ve written a thank-you for a very special thank-you note and received one from someone else for a special card I’d handcrafted. Sometimes you can’t help yourself.
