Paha-siga: Yes, it’s common knowledge that Pig loves pork products. The title of the first Pearls book is “BLTs Taste So Darn Good” and shows Pig eating the aforementioned sandwich. Many of Pig’s deceased relatives have come back from time to time as delicious and tasty treats! Especially his aunt Vivian and uncle George.
Sure, tax the people who create the jobs so they have LESS money to pay people. So they stop creating jobs and stop hiring people. Democrats – use a little fiscal common sense. And look at your history. This country has NEVER taxed itself out of a recession!

How many people out there remember Shermy, or the only person of color to grace the strip…Franklin? There was also Patty (prior to “Peppermint” Patty) and of course Violet. And Schroeder was very seldom in Sparky’s later strips. Guess they must have moved out of the neighborhood. And what was the name of the little girl that always bragged about her naturally curly hair????
Alain – keep in mind this comic was originally run back in the good old days! This comic probably dates to around 1970. Violet didn’t make many appearances into the 80s and 90s.
Does anyone know where the new Bloom County strips are gonna run? Are they coming to GoComics?
