Tried a local Italian deli and bakery yesterday. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Sandwiches only. $10.99 each, but they make two meals for most people. The rest of their offering is imported Italian food and in-store baked goods. They’re very good, and have a new sandwich of the week to draw people back in again.
Yet, they can maintain a farm, property with a guest house, fixed up and maintain Arlo’s boat, etc.
Maybe they sell their frozen food at local grocery stores and that’s more profitable then a walk up deli? We’re always trying new food from small brands from across our state.
That part of the job sounds more like what Arlo would like to do, use every pot cooking large quantities of food while chatting in the kitchen among a small friendly audience.

This one is Gus saying Arlo is a hard sell for not buying the boat for $10 after Gene undertook the cost and labor for repairs and Gus offered free electricity, docking, shower access, etc.
Arlo likes to muse about his dreams, sells his family on them, they do the work to make them happen with Arlo just needing to say yes, then he waffles on it, and they have to sell him on his idea again, which once it finally does happen, he will take credit for it being a great idea.
Like Gene said yesterday, Arlo is sedimentary. He enjoys being stuck in the mud.
