My wife is a Feb 29 birthday. The downside is they expect a BIG day when they get a birthday. Last year we had a big “sweet sixteen” party. This year will be much less though many consider this birthday a significant milestone.

He needs to confer with Garfield today.

While I wish that was once true, I am now convinced that it was never so. The purpose of newspapers has always been to promote biased information. Sometimes that is good for us, sometimes not. News and all information is always presented with a bias, intentionally or not.

Dig around. Maybe some turnips got left behind. Critters like them.

What I remember of Schrödinger’s cat was the necessity of observation and how observation itself impacts a situation. The cat was in a closed box with something that would kill it based on the decay of an element. If you do not know exactly when that happens and cannot see the cat, can you say if the cat is alive or dead at any point? Only statistically. So there arose the idea that the cat is in an unknown state until observed at which point the probabilities collapse into a reality. Mostly silliness, in my opinion, from trying to think statistics has anything directly to do with reality. And in this comic, Schrödinger’s cat has nothing to do with crypto beyond sounding cool. Johnson just dropped a buzz word in that has no relevance.

The world is so full of a number of things, I’m sure we should all be as happy as kings.
