@memo & 3stepssee spamster’s comment above. Though I think she was not so much betrayed as got caught in a bind if she mutated, so she escaped with her old (pre-peacebonding tech) blaster. Or perhaps she exposed herself on purpose if she felt betrayed when her lover got made into a transport…
She certainly is ruthless, but given the circunstances that doesn’t rule out any former profession.
Anyway, I second the call for votes. Unlike the Topsider’s Titan, which we hope doesn’t get off the ground, let’s help rocket Endtown up the ranks! And for those who don’t want to search through the listings, you can use this link to get to a vote page:http://topwebcomics.com/vote/12413/default.aspx
So toss the man a bone people – he’s giving us a daily dose of awesome. If you like it, support it, if not monetarily, then with a click to http://topwebcomics.com/vote/9318/default.aspx and/or http://topwebcomics.com/vote/12413/default.aspx. I figure a daily click to help him find more fans is the least I can do…
Come to think of it, the topsiders may even finish the rocket, but still be unable to launch due to payload or fuel issues. They really need better intel.
Two days doesn’t seem like much time to me either, but consider if it was 2 hours!Actually, if it isn’t fully assembled, the topsiders will still need to do final checks, and weather needs to be considered as well, so they probably have a larger window. Better safe than sorry, though.
Hmm, now that you mention it, I think he’s looking up and thinking, ‘Oh, Crap, I’m still in a box!’ A big box, but even with Holly to help, that will be tough for a claustrophobe to live with…
Nah, it’s her way of saying ‘Let go of your past’ – “Live in the present” is, of course, the accepted corollary. Nonetheless, I think this is pretty rude of her. To take someone’s prized possession and throw it away, is rude. Therapeutic though… Which reminds me, time for me to clean-out some junk around here!
Nope, not a beaver or a duck. Check the previous panel and you’ll see there is a little finial in the cutout on these swinging doors. So it is a passerby, but the finial is NOT her tail. My bet is she’s a swine, just going by her snout…
