The miracle is no damage! At least not that I can see. I saw 3 trash carts that had not been put away laying in the street; no damage to my car. I had a bunch of dead branches on my deck; the food and water dishes had not moved, were just full of water. It was too hot to be out at 06:00. We are supposed to get more this afternoon. OY! Has the storm hit you? I couldn’t tell on radar.
With the heat indices between 105-115 and high humidity sure would recommend having something! Need battery operated if possible, over 35,000 OGE customers w/o power – the damage shown on TV is really bad … see if weather channel is covering it or if you get get our local koco5. Downed power lines, poles snapped, hail damage, debris everywhere! At height of storm well over 50000 w/o power so OGE doing great on restoring power!
Tonight’s storm was awful and went right over me; heard thunks of hail hitting house. Won’t be able to check for damage until light and then it will be super hot!
