   Sigh, try living through a remodel. We are. Bath is almost done, kitchen cabinets are in but no countertops or finished floors yet or backsplashes. Although the floor tiles and blacksplash are ready to install, they have to wait for the countertops, along with the sink and faucet and appliances.

   We are remodeling, so I have to write checks to buy appliances, pay the contractor, and pay for other things. Our CU has a $1500 per day spending limit on debit cards, which annoyed the Fark out of me.

   First time I have had to write checks in 30 years.

   Man, just like cable used to be without commercials, then on came commercials. Streaming used to have none, now they do too.

   It is like we cannot get away from them. I no longer care for most because they are not like the 70s when we had Mother Nature, Mrs. Olsen, Mikey, Madge, The Duncan crew and Mr. Tootsie Pop. Commercials today are boring by comparison.

   My stomach has been in turmoil every day since then. I am now back to not watching or listening to news broadcasts or NPR. If I even hear anything about that *&$@# I change or turn off the device.
