Early 1980’s I remember going to a place called Rent-A-Wreck and getting a van to move my stuff to a new apt. It had a column shift, my car was a stick so it was easy learning how to drive it. I really loved learning that one and only time i got to drive one. The next time I needed to move I looked for R-A-Wreck but they were gone and have never seen another like it since.
Love this comic because of moments like this illustrated. Brings to mind an Eleanor Roosevelt quote that I live by -
“Remember always that you have not only the right to be an individual, you have the obligation to be one. You cannot make any useful contributions to life unless you do that.”
And philosophy class gets Monty Python.
