   Good point… in fact, if you visit tower records online or subscribe to their sales, they are fully dedicated to promote vinyl releases 100%.

   The same happened to the music industry. I miss going to Tower Records which ended up closing most of its stores if not all, when people began to stream music they had no other choice. Tower is still online but the experience is not the same.

   Programming languages are very interesting, you can write a long and complex set of codes to perform a task when you can do the same by keeping it as short as possible and making it easier to read when you have to share it with other developers. When they advised students to “keep it simple and stupid,” they never meant to degrade or disrespect anyone, there is really no such thing as a stupid program, it is simply ‘computer humor’ to break stress from the course. Now, just for reference, this was back in the 90s when I took those classes.

   Actually, the correct phrase is “Keep it simple and stupid,” known as the “KISS” method. I learned that when I took some programming classes many moons ago.
