In Canada, we had special booklets for kids where you could paste in pictures of different animals. I remember booklets for butterflies, birds, large mammal of North America. But my favorite, Dinosaurs! That would have been the early 60s. The pictures came in cartons of tea. Red Rose, I think. Pretty sure I still have that one tucked away somewhere.
