   I’m with you all the way. Teaching kids manners can be stressful, but it’s important. Also, establishing a family mealtime can also establish a good family relationship in the long run, and it wouldn’t kill Calvin to watch a little less TV.

   She’s Brad and Toni’s kid. That Nova is for Amatuars. Serioulsly, Toni is into some deep fantisizing, which is very unlike her. The kid that joyfully does all these chores, and then some hasn’t been born yet.

   They have. She is much better now than she was earlier, though she still has her moments. And you also have to take into account that Brad and Toni are young and inexperienced when it comes to child rearing. They are bound to make a lot of mistakes. Considering that, and the fact that Shannon was a mixed up mess when they first met her, they have been doing a very good job.

   On principle, you are absolutely right, Ivax, but you are leaving out one important thing. I hope that Brad and Toni are being very careful not to let Shannon hear their conversation. A lot of her bad behavior can be blamed on feeling unwanted and un loved. Brad and Toni have made huge leaps and bounds of progress in repairing that, and it shows in Shannon’s improved (but far from perfect) attitude. This could go downhill in a hurry, and that would be heartbreaking. I say Toni and Brad adopt Shannon and give her the stable family she needs and deserves.
