Good message and timing. There was a story posted 6 hours ago about a 76 year old scammed of $30,000. Let it go to voice mail. If they say they are from a known company, independently use their official phone number or email. Not the callers message.
We unwittingly reinforce this behavior. They want attention. That is one way to get it. I bet most people say something to them as they step over. Sometimes even a quick petting. They know they are going get some attention paid to them.
I think the cat is a red herring. I am more concerned that Janis wasn’t sure if she was in the bathroom. Or, if the cat is key, animals have been known to paw at cancerous growths.
So you guys supporting harassment have no trouble knowing that your mother may have had to put up with someone who pushed themselves on her without her consent? Or you won’t mind when some manager asks your daughter to “Work Late?”
I forgot that was how we used to call our friends outside. Stand by the door and sing-shout their name over and over. Do kids still do that? Or do they just text each other?
