Nothing I could find suggests there’s any increase in human infertility.

The falling rate of reproduction is down to choice. People are choosing to have fewer kids. In the US, this is almost entirely down to the fact that women have the right to choose to not have children they don’t want.

Your definition of “capitalism” is just precious, bless your heart.

Capitalism is about getting as big a piece of the pie as possible. The utility is about how to collect those bits of pie and how to keep from losing them. The only thing capitalism cares about the masses is how best to separate them from the bits of pie they hold.

Except that we need people who can flip burgers just as much, more actually, than we need new tradesmen who, I know this might come as a shock, won’t find jobs in their trade that will pay the bills and will have to supplement their income with, you guessed it, flipping burgers.

Don’t shit on the so-called unskilled labor force. If they went away, all of society would suffer.

If it’s a job has any value, then it needs to pay a living wage. No exceptions.

    How about NO.

How about we actually honor the idea of no taxation without representation?

How about we actually honor the Constitution of the United States for a change?

We didn’t just throw our hands up at slavery because it was the norm. The norm was wrong so we corrected it. The same should be said of all the rest of the people not afforded equal representation by our government. Not providing representation in DC and PR and Guam and the USVI is a violation of the 14th Amendment, and I can’t wait till it gets addressed.

Yeah, but the census was screwed over, so there’s no telling if CA actually lost that much population or if our population was just grossly undercounted. >_<

They don’t need to get rid of it because they’ve already met that asinine hurdle.

It takes active, malicious interference to make the USPS fail, and the GOP is doing there damnedest to make that happen.

Yeah. How dare the American people expect the police to actually suffer the consequences when they break the law. /s

The bandaids are likely over the earrings to keep them from getting anything in the holes or catching the earrings on anything. Store piercings since the 80s actually insert the earring as part of the piercing procedure.

I wish I could get my ears to stay pierced. First time was a home job at 7 that we gave up on after about a week The second attempt was in high school and was done at a mall jewelry store. After about 2 months of the damned holes either refusing to heal at all or healing fused to the earrings, I just gave up entirely.

Maybe it’s for the best, though, as they weren’t quite aligned, and it would have bothered me every time I looked in a mirror. :P

Actually, got some info on this earlier today that indicates I was somewhat mistaken.

So, you absolutely can be convicted of multiple offenses for the same action.

However, you can only receive sentencing for one of those convictions.
