Does eugenics count as a “philosphy” per se? I suppose it could be a philosophy of science (rather, pseudo-science), but it isn’t a study of the questions of existence, or knowledge.
@HareBall In that context, “our” has an inclusive connotation; there is an implication that by “our”, Barney is referring to the upper class, though you are right in that it could be interpereted as everybody’s streets. However, if he didn’t intend to imply possession, “the streets” would be the typical wording.
I believe that in China, public bathrooms aren’t required to carry toilet paper, so people always carry toilet paper on them. That’s rather ironic, since the Chinese invented toilet paper.
