My favorite schedule was (10-hour days): 5 on/4 off/3 on/2 off. Those 4 days off in a row, every 2 weeks, was like a mini-vacation. Then, if you used a week of vacation time, you could actually get 11 days off in a row. Not to mention, I was working from home, so those 10 hours days weren’t bad. Retirement is still better, though. :)
I figured it probably means to turn off the volume on it? But some may take it literally (I don’t…I’ll surf the web while I’m waiting…I’m a rebel!). :)
Not to mention that (at my location, anyway), when you are waiting in that small room, there’s a sign on the wall telling you to turn off your phone. Wait here for 10-30 minutes…hope you brought a physical book. :>/
I asked AI to write a joke about that meal. Hmmm…and they say that 2025 will be the year we get AGI??? lol
Why did the roast pork butt, black-eyed peas, collared greens, spinach, and lentils have such a great New Year’s Eve party?
Because they knew how to serve up some good karma with those lentils, keep everyone grounded with collared greens, add a bit of muscle with the spinach, bring a little luck with the black-eyed peas, and butt in with a delicious pork roast!
You know that Veeblefester is going to reject that expense report. His version of ‘surf and turf’ (for employees) maxes out at a McD’s burger and Filet-O-Fish.
WTH? Brushing your teeth before breakfast is like showering before you workout.
