   Google PubMed. Once there search evolution, evolutionary coservation, molecular evolution, human evolution,… basically anything related to evolution. You’ll find all the scientific articles you need.

   I’m not saying God doesn’t exist or that science and religion aren’t related/can’t exist together. But to say there’s no evidence for evolution is just naive and ingnorant. One can’t see what they won’t look at, right?

   I wonder if the sweetener replaced the sugar in the chow (i.e. 1 cup sweetener instead of 1 cup sugar in the recipe). If so, then the mice may have not been receiving their required level glucose for a healthy diet. Therefore, their bodies would have been tricked into “starvation” mode. Thus, they would be more likely to store energy as fat since they weren’t receiving the correct amount of glucose energy. It’s the same reason why crash dieters who cut their food/glucose/carb (carbs = glucose) intake dramatically blow up after their diet ends.

   Long story short, more info is needed from the published article to fully understand their findings. And, in my opinion, diet soda probably won’t make you fat if you eat an otherwise normal and healthy diet.

   Finally, I fully agree with Eryx.
