   I have over a hundred white crowned sparrows and dozens of quail from October into April, but when they leave for their breeding grounds I only have hummingbirds and the occasional flycatchers, wrens and warblers. And goldfinches at the thistle feeder until the sunflowers bloom. Love my wintering birds.
