My uncle flew Hellcats off the USS Yorktown in WWII.

WARNING: A mainstream cartoon straying into the turf of political cartoons is part of the reason why Dilbert/Scott Adams is persona non grata.

    Stay in your own lane.

Funny, when I first posted the aforementioned photo, I did indeed make reference to “Tim the Toolman”.

Oh wait, here is the URL:>

I’ve been known to attach a cordless drill to a pepper mill when I need a half-cup of freshly ground pepper for a dry rub. Too bad I can’t post it or a URL here.

You must live in the Pacific Northwest, like me in Oregon. The invasive Himalayan Blackberry is a scourge. That said, when on a walk, if I don’t pick them fast, my English Setter will pick them himself. Ditto for my two previous dogs.

“In the USA, between 1956 and 1958, RCA and Columbia pressed 16 rpm records.”

Another online reference referred to the audio quality to be about the same as a telephone — certainly “low-fi”.

Thanks! I never noticed the timeless reruns until the B&W strips.

I don’t come to GoComics very often so pardon me if this is well known: Is there a specific reason why Stone Soup is doing ~30-year-old reruns, e.g. is she taking a break, ill, or retired? The “About” tabs here don’t mention anything.

$1M isn’t what it used to be. Anyone over, say, 60-years-old who properly planned for retirement has a net worth over $1M and ideally closer to $2M.
