Having lived through comics as a kid, I dreamed of having a super-hero alter-ego. Thus, I can only make & read comments when not stopping speeding locomotives, leaping tall buildings in a single bound, or fighting for truth, justice, and Mom's apple pie.

    May I suggest a six-month membership to Toastmasters? I used to be just like you (and still am at heart) but Toastmasters used a supportive environment to teach me how to make small talk as well as speeches.
