@snaggly,not to belabor the point previously made but in certain areas of the United States the families residency predate the “anglo” families by several generations.In other words they didn’t cross the border the border crossed them.
@pschearer actually this is in reference to the Bureau of Indian Affairs which is a sub-department of the Department of the Interior which is supposedly responsible for overseeing the needs of federally recognized First Nations i.e. American Indian nations. Not people from the Asian subcontinent.
